I usually talk about phones from IFA releases, but LG just dropped a new Styler ShoeCase, a stackable shoebox, in Berlin this year.
The idea is to protect the buyer’s shoes from moisture with a UV filter built into the case. It’s honestly one the best solutions for sneaker heads who want to showcase their shoes that I’ve seen.
This is LG’s play for a Millenial and GenZ audience. In The Verge’s article on the new product, an LG representative was quoted on his interest in Millenial and GenZ’s “culture of collecting expensive designer, luxury and limited edition sneakers”.
This is a smart business play, and a good way to sell relevant products for a younger demographic. I’m for it.
