Productivity Desk Setup Update – Logitech

Logitech has been known for creating great peripherals, and we have been using their products for years. Today, we’re looking at a variety of Logitech products that we have added to our desk setup to improve our productivity, creative, and work from home experience.

MX Keys Mini

The Logitech MX Keys Mini is a new minimalist keyboard from Logitech designed with creators in mind. The keyboard features a compact form factor and a familiar keyboard layout that is designed for precision, efficiency, and improved ergonomics. The “Perfect Stroke” keys are spherically dished to fit your finger tips and finished with a matte coating to provide a satisfying and comfortable typing experience. The entire body of the keyboard is also constructed from a single metal plate for extra stability and increased build quality.

The smart function keys on the MX Mini include a dictation key, emoji key, and a mute/unmute button for your microphone. The smart illumination feature on the keyboard utilizes proximity sensors to detect when your hands are on the keyboard for backlighting and automatically adjusts to various lighting conditions to save power.

Through Bluetooth, the MX Keys Mini can pair up to three devices at one time and is compatible with the Logi Bolt receiver as well. The MX Keys Mini is also quite versatile in the fact that it works with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and chromeOS.

In regards to battery life, the MX Keys Mini charges via USB-C and can last up to 10 days on a full charge, or up to 5 months of battery life is the keyboard backlighting is completely turned off. The MX Keys Mini is priced a $99.99 and comes in color options of Pale Gray, Graphite, Rose, and Black.

MX Master 3 & MX Anywhere 3

The Logitech MX Master 3 is a professional mouse that we have been using for years and is a product we truly stand behind.

The MX Master 3 features an ergonomic design made for the shape of your palm, and with buttons that are placed conveniently for your fingers. The MagSpeed Electromagnetic scroll wheel is made out of machined steel and allows you to scroll up to 1,000 lines in a second, while the MX Master 3’s 7 buttons allow you to customize and map each key to match your workflow and applications. Logitech has been known for their high quality mice sensors, and the MX Master 3 is no exception. The 4,000 DPI sensor is precise and allows you to track on virtually any surface, even glass.

The MX Master 3 can pair with up to three devices at once and can control all of them simultaneously. Logitech Flow enables you to move your cursor between screens and even transfer text, images, and files across computers and operating systems simply by copy and pasting through the mouse. Logitech Streamcam

The Logitech Streamcam is Logitech’s webcam designed with content creators and streamers in mind. The Streamcam is capable of recording in 1080p HD at 60 fps and offers a 78° Field of View to capture everything in frame, while dual-front facing microphones ensure you sound crisp and clear when talking to your audience.

Features of the webcam include autoframing, which dynamically adjusts to keep you in the centre of the frame, and intelligent exposure, which adjusts ISO and aperture to ensure you look your best, regardless of lighting conditions. Being designed for streamers, the Streamcam is optimized for various streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, etc. and supports OBS, XSplit, and Streamlabs.

The Streamcam connects via USB-C and comes with a versatile mount that allows you to tilt, pan, and get the perfect angle. 4K Pro Webcam

As the name suggests, this is Logitech’s premium webcam offering that is capable of recording in 4K and is designed to offer the highest quality experience for your video calls and meetings.

The webcam is capable of recording either in 4K at 30fps, 1080P at 60fps, or 720p at 90fps. It also utilizes RightLight 3 and HDR technology to ensure that you look professional in any lighting condition, whether that be low-light, direct sunlight, or any harsh lighting environments. There are also three diagonal Field of View settings (65°, 78° and 90°) so you can perfectly frame yourself, or show more of the environment around you. For audio, the 4K Pro Webcam utilizes dual integrated omnidirectional microphones and noise-cancelling technology to ensure you sound clear and detailed, and that any background noises are minimized.

The Logi Tune software also allows for full device control and customization so you can set focus, zoom, and various color adjustments. Lastly, the 4K Pro Webcam comes with an adjustable clip for easy mounting almost anywhere, and a privacy shade so you can cover the camera when not needed. The 4K Pro Webcam comes in at a price of $199.99. There is also another option available that is designed specifically for Apple’s Pro Display XDR.

10W Powered Pad

Another useful and simple addition to any desk is Logitech’s 10W Qi-certified universal wireless charging pad for any smartphones, wireless headphones, and more. The Powered Pad looks stylish with a simple square design and a single charging indicator light on the front. The charging pad enables fast charging on various devices including 9W fast charging for Samsung devices and 7.5W fast charging for iPhones, both of which exceed the 5W standard of other wireless chargers.

The Powered Pad has many safety features as well including internal heat sensors to prevent overheating, foreign object detection to prevent other objects from potentially heating up on the pad, and overcharge protection which shuts off the power when your device is fully charged. Worried about your phone’s case? Well that’s not a problem either as the Powered Pad works with most cases that are 3mm or thinner.

The 10W Powered Pad comes in at a price of $39.99 and is available in Graphite, White, Lilac, and Blue Sage options.
