OPPO Find X5 Pro Unboxing & First Impressions – Ceramic White!

Oppo recently announced their brand new flagship smartphone made in partnership with Hasselblad, the Oppo Find X5 Pro. As the successor to last year’s Oppo Find X3 Pro, the Find X5 Pro elevates the Find X series to the next level in regards to beauty and performance.

Crafted from aluminum and ceramic, the design of the Find X5 Pro is sleek, minimal, and elegant. The scratch resistant ceramic back supposedly takes 168 hours to build and requires over 45 different processes to produce the seamless curves that are present. The body of the phone is futuristic and reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail that was required. Furthermore, the Find X5 Pro is IP68 rated to be splash, water, and dust-proof for ultimate durability.

The display on the Find X5 Pro is a magnificent 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a WQHD+ resolution, 120hz dynamic refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and more. With a pixel density of 525 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%, the display is immersive and captivating. For the internals, the Oppo Find X5 Pro features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A multi-tier cooling system is also present on the inside to dissipate heat and keep the phone’s surface temperature low while engaging in intensive tasks such as gaming. The Find X5 Pro runs the latest version of Android 12 with Oppo’s own ColorOS 12.1 layered on top.

As the Find X5 Pro was made in collaboration with Hasselblad, the camera technology on the Find X5 Pro is one of the phone’s major selling points. The Find X5 Pro features a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP f/1.7 wide camera, a 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera. The dual flagship cameras are powered by Sony’s IMX766 sensor and color calibrated by Hasselblad themselves.. The Find X5 Pro also features a first of its kind DSLR-like 5 axis optical image stabilization for better and more stable footage. Lastly, the Find X5 Pro’s camera technology is powered by Oppo’s brand new MariSilicon X Imaging NPU which is based on a 6nm process and allows for 4K Night Video, 20-bit HDR video, real time RAW processing, and more.

In terms of battery life, the Find X5 Pro contains a 5,000mAh battery that supposedly lasts up to 1,600 charging cycles, which is double the lifespan compared to the industry standard. The Find X5 Pro also supports Oppo’s 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology which allows for 0 to 50% in just 12 minutes, and their 50W AirVOOC wireless charging which allows for 0 to 100% in a mere 47 minutes.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected to go on sale sometime in March and will be available in both Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.
